George A. Lemieux II CEO - 2004 

George A. Lemieux II is the founder and President of Lemieux & Associates. His entrepreneurial vision and family values have created an energized culture that has delivered outstanding value and exceptional customer service to the insurance defense industry since 2004.

​

George has been a licensed Private Investigator since 1990 and has personally worked thousands of hours on all phases of investigations ranging from insurance defense and high-profile criminal cases to locating missing persons. He has also been a defense investigator for Death Penalty cases in the State and Federal court systems.

​

George has sat on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Private Investigators Association, the Connecticut Association of Licensed Private Investigators, and Samasta Health Foundation, a non-profit health foundation that provides healthcare and essential medicines in areas of need around the world. He has been a guest lecturer at UCONN School of Law and the University of New Haven - Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences

Robert D. Molnar COO - 2008 

In August of 2008, Bob Molnar joined Lemieux & Associates as a Partner and Vice President, Operations. In 1986 Bob began his career in the private investigation arena with the major focus being on insurance investigations.  Before joining Lemieux & Associates he was Vice President, Operations for the two largest investigative agencies in the U.S. and was directly responsible for over 400 Field Investigators in the United States and more than 200 Contract Investigators abroad. Prior to that he was a Police Officer in Connecticut, Deputy Sheriff in Colorado and worked with the U.S. Marshals Service. He also served in the U.S. Navy and majored in Criminal Justice at Western CT State University.

 

Bob is well known within the investigations industry and was much sought after for his broad knowledge and experience.  He has well over thirty thousand hours of field experience and has worked as a consultant and adviser to many insurance and investigative firms over his long career.  Bob is currently licensed throughout most of the United States.

Michael Clarke CSO - 2023 

Michael J. Clarke is the Chief Strategy Officer and partner of Lemieux & Associates. Michael was the founder and CEO of Archangel Investigations & Protection, a national investigation and protection agency of which he personally held 45 state private investigator licenses. Michael is well known to clients for being personally involved in complex cases as part of his dedication to providing the best possible service and results. Prior to starting Archangel in 1994, Michael worked for Travelers SIU spending thousands of hours conducting investigations and surveillance in the Los Angeles area. Michael graduated from Eastern CT State University with a degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice.

Michael has a long history of speaking at industry conferences sharing his expertise on the topics of surveillance, SIU investigations, threat assessments, and active shooter response training.

Shelby Bettini

National Accounts Manager - 2010

Shelby began her career in 2001 in Florida as a Regional Sales Manager for a national investigation company.   She moved to New York in 2003 to open the tri-state region for that same company where she developed revenues into one of the highest producing territories.   She decided to leave the industry in 2007 to work in the fashion industry where she worked in NYC for 2 years.   In 2009 she and her husband had their first daughter and decided to move back to Florida to be with family.  This is where she decided to restart her career in the investigative industry and came on board with Lemieux & Associates in 2010.   She is now a Regional Sales Manager successfully managing the Florida territory.   She and her husband have 2 daughters and live in the Tampa area.

Ashley Draper

National Accounts Manager - 2015 

Ashley graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in 2005 with a Bachelors in Psychology and Criminal Justice.  She was a pre-law concentration and worked her way up to a senior paralegal in a litigation defense law firm. When presented an opportunity to work on client development for the firm she saw her passion with marketing and customer service.  She soon went back to school to complete her MBA in marketing. In 2007, while in her program, she took a job as a Regional Account Manager for a mid-sized investigative company.  She worked for them for 5 years working her way up to VP of National Sales before she left the industry for a job in the pharmaceutical world.  In 2015 she restarted her career in the investigative industry and joined Lemieux & Associates.  She is the Regional Sales Manager for Upstate New York and New England states.  Her and her husband have one son, Jace, and live in Western New York.

Megan Morgan

National Accounts Manager - 2020

Megan began her career in the workers’ compensation industry in 2014. She started out with a physical therapy company as a physician marketing rep for SC, and quickly moved up to the workers compensation representative for 5 states. She decided to make the transition to private investigations in 2020 and joined Lemieux & Associates. Megan graduated from Clemson University in 2006. She enjoys traveling, shopping, skiing, golfing and pretty much any outdoor activity.

Eva Portillo

Eva has over 20 years of experience as a senior-level executive leader. She maintains a high level of successful business relationships, delivering optimal results. Eva has a long-standing record of exceeding operational performance targets. She takes a strategic, innovative approach to improving process performance that maximizes business results in risk strategies, fraud detection, and prevention, producing the most favorable, cost-effective resolutions.

Eva is applying her experience, remarkable history of leading people and businesses to achieve their goals in the insurance, risk claim management, fraud detection and prevention industries to the California market.

Jennifer Wright

Jennifer began her career in 1995 as a Work Comp Adjuster in FL. In 2000, she successfully made the transition to sales, where she’s been ever since. For 10 of those years she was with a national investigations company where she handled a four-million-dollar book of business. She took some time off and when she decided to get back into the industry at the end of 2013, she came on board with Lemieux & Associates. Jenn manages lower NY, NJ and PA. She and her husband have one daughter. They enjoy traveling and spending time in NY City.

Desktop Investigations – 2015

David Joined our team in 2015 as a Desktop Investigator.  Shortly after, he shifted into a role as an assistant case manager before settling into the role of Desktop Manager, where he oversees and works alongside the desktop investigative staff. He is the proud recipient of the 2017 Distinguished Service Award and is recognized for “Exceeding our customers’ expectations on a daily basis.” David graduated from Salve Regina University with a BA in Administration of Justice in 2010.  He is a proud Eagle Scout and is always looking to solve a problem. On a personal note, David recently got engaged, purchased his first home, and is excited for the journey ahead.

Tate Falduto

SIU - 2008

Tate has been licensed Private Investigator in the state of Florida since 2006 investigating insurance claims filed for a variety of coverage to include Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Property and Casualty and Disability Claims.  Prior to becoming a private investigator, Tate was the Director of Loss Prevention for a major hotel chain where he implemented all safety and security programs for providing protection and a sense of well-being to all guests and employees.  After transitioning to the field of Private Investigations, Tate has conducted thousands of surveillance and SIU cases throughout the Florida Panhandle, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. He has thorough knowledge in all aspects of SIU, surveillance and contestable death claims.

Robert Faria

Director of Surveillance – 2019

Robert brings over 20 years of investigative experience, being personally involved as an investigator and manager in over 6,000 investigations. He began his career in this industry as a surveillance investigator, after which he held positions to include Director of Field Operations and Vice President of Operations for a very successful regional Investigation Firm. He is a results-driven business professional who provides the strategic vision and leadership to initiate enhanced productivity, efficiency, operational processes, and bottom-line improvements. Robert credits his motivation and leadership ability to his service in the United States Army, where he proudly served his country with multiple overseas deployments. Robert joined the Lemieux team in 2019 and was promoted to Senior Surveillance Manager in 2021.

Mark Hernandez

Mark comes to Lemieux and Associates with over 33 years of claims experience. Mark started with Travelers Insurance in California, Liberty Mutual Insurance RAM, and CNA in Florida. During his tenure, Mark has served as CAT Loss Claim Manger, Subrogation Manager, and Litigation Management. He has received multiple awards during this period for claims excellence. Additionally, Mark served as a Regional Claims Manager for Starwood Hotels for 13 years covering multiple jurisdictions within the United States and Caribbean Islands. In addition to claims oversight, Mark performed hand on training in multiple disciplines, concepts, and Safety Training. For the past 6 years, Mark has served as a Risk Management Consultant for Hotel locations at Walt Disney World in addition to Operations at Canvass MD. 

 

In addition to recognition in claims excellence, Mark has a California Self-Insured Certificate, Six Sigma Green Belt, and a California Investigators License. Mark has provided OSHA 10/30 Hour instructional Courses as an OSHA Trainer, General Industry, and Construction. Mark is an avid worldwide cruiser with a passion for family and Georgia Bulldogs.

Dawn Lemieux

Dawn started her career in 1984 as an Accounts Payable Coordinator for a nationwide cable company.  In 1988, when she had her first child, she started her own bookkeeping business.  The business did very well and allowed her to work mostly from home and raise her 3 daughters. In 2004, Lemieux & Associates became one of her many clients.  As Lemieux grew, so did Dawn’s position as well as her responsibilities with the company.  She is now the Office Manager/HR Manager and is part of the Executive Team. Dawn is included in the decision making with the owners, with running and future course of the business.

Steve McCormick

Human Resources – 2016 

Steve is currently a private investigator licensed in the state of Florida. He previously served in the United States Navy stationed aboard the USS Midway in Yokosuka, Japan, where he participated in Operation Desert Storm and then was stationed in Miramar, California with air wing VAW 113. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Navy, he has been working as a licensed private investigator in Florida for the last 24 years. For the first twelve years, Steve performed field investigator duties to include surveillance, locates, recorded statements, social networking checks, courthouse records searches and alive & well checks. For the last 12 years, Steve has performed Senior Case Management duties, directing a staff of field investigators over various states throughout the South-East Region. In addition, for the last 3 years he has served as the liaison between his company and The Travelers Companies, facilitating a healthy client/partner relationship.

Rich McKeon
Director of Cellular Services - 2023

Rich McKeon retired after a 28-year career with the Glastonbury, CT Police Department. He gained vast investigative training and experience working for a nationally accredited agency that values competence and effective community engagement. Those values allowed Rich to be assigned many agency roles that allowed him to identify and understand various patterns of criminality and its impact on victims across all age groups and socioeconomic conditions.

 

By fostering relationships, Rich partnered with a top 10 communications corporation to create and supervise a regional digital forensics lab that immediately provided needed resources to eight cities and towns in Connecticut. The lab became known as a critical resource for police agencies statewide. During his tenure at the lab, Rich provided CDR mapping, computer, and cell phone forensic analysis to assist numerous local, state, and federal agencies with investigations including fraud, robbery, and murder. Rich has presented his expertise to investigators representing law enforcement, probation & parole, SIU, corporate, and campus security professionals.

Brian White

Director of Sales & Marketing - 2023 

Brian White has joined the L&A team as Senior Manager – Record Retrieval. He obtained a B.S. in Criminology and a B.S. in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1995. In addition, he also holds associate degrees in criminal justice and Speech/Communication. Brian's professional journey began with roles as a security specialist at Caesars and a seasonal police officer while he pursued his education at IUP. Subsequently, he joined the Ocean City, NJ, Police Department as a patrol officer until 1996.

During his time at the OC Police Department, Brian took on a position as a field investigator at Facticon Incorporated, gradually progressing to become a field training manager. Over the course of seven years, he received seven promotions within the company. Later on, Brian decided to transition to Litigation Solutions, where he served as a regional marketer. Remarkably, during his 22-year tenure at LSI, the company underwent four separate acquisitions, and Brian himself was promoted eight times.

Richard A. Brooks has enjoyed a multifaceted career in law enforcement and private investigations. Beginning as a military policeman, he later served as an officer, detective, K-9 handler, and Chief of Police. In addition to his extensive law enforcement roles, he's been a licensed private investigator since 2002, conducting a wide range of investigations across multiple states. Richard holds various certifications, including Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI-FTER), and he has been an instrumental force in the Mississippi Professional Investigators Association, playing a key role in passing legislation for licensing private investigators.

In the professional arena, Richard is a member of numerous investigative associations and has authored articles and an e-book on investigative topics. His commitment to education shines through as he shares his expertise as an expert witness and in teaching continuing education to investigators nationwide. With a foundation in Industrial Security and Criminal Justice, Richard remains a respected figure in the field of law enforcement and private investigations, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

Jeff Connor

SIU - 2014

Jeff Connor is the SIU Manager for Lemieux & Associates. Jeff has 32 years of claims and fraud insurance industry experience. He has an A.A. in Police Science along with completing several certificates and advanced training courses in numerous areas of insurance investigations. He has specialized training and experience in the field of property/casualty claims, surveillance, auto, home, bodily injury, general liability, commercial lines, and special lines. He has extensive knowledge with the usage and interpretation of databases.

 

His responsibilities include managing SIU files, developing investigative actions plans, monitoring investigative efforts and budgets, developing additional action plans / red flags through the progression of the file, and overseeing the overall flow of the file. Jeff has overseen and submitted hundreds of fraud referrals to the corresponding state fraud departments.

Denise DeHart

Denise began her career in the industry in 2005 as a licensed private investigator. She started in Memphis, TN, working as part of a criminal defense investigative team, handling high-profile cases. Denise went on to conduct extensive investigations in both the private sector and the insurance industry. In 2017, she moved to the Alabama Gulf Coast, where she assumed a leadership role in an SIU (Special Investigations Unit) department, earning the 'Rock Star of the Year Award' in 2020. Denise joined Lemieux & Associates in October 2023 as a Surveillance Case Manager.

Jennifer “Petie” Gernand

Petie began her investigative career in 1992, first in retail before transitioning into the insurance industry in 1994 where she initially worked as a Field Investigator before moving on to positions as a Sales Representative, Case Manager, Vendor Manager and eventually an SIU Manager.  Petie elected to transition into Risk Management for a government entity upon having her daughter in 2011 yet upon her child reaching elementary school age, Petie was eager to get back to her true passion of Investigations.  Petie and her daughter reside in the Southern Gulf Coast of Florida and she currently manages cases in the Mid-Atlantic Territory.

Meredith Glick

Desktop Investigations - 2017

Meredith has been with Lemieux & Associates as a Desktop Investigator since 2017. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in psychology, as well as minors in criminal justice and sociology. She then went on to obtain her master's degree from the University of New Haven in criminal justice, with a concentration in victimology.

 

Since joining the company, she has taken on many roles, including the trainer for Desktop employees, senior investigator of the team, and most recently, a case manager. Furthermore, she was the 2019 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. Initially from Rhode Island, Meredith lived in Connecticut for a decade before moving to Massachusetts.

Chris is a highly skilled Insurance Claims Fraud Investigator and Training Program Developer based in Middletown, Rhode Island, is known for his dynamic and results-oriented approach. He boasts a remarkable track record of successfully identifying fraudulent claims and providing tailored training for claims personnel, making him a recognized leader in innovative fraud detection techniques. His collaborative abilities with both management and staff consistently enhance productivity.
He specializes in Property Casualty and Worker's Compensation claims, preparing detailed reports and action plans to support clients in determining policy coverage. During his decade-long tenure at VRC, he held various roles, ranging from National Accounts Manager to SIU Regional Manager, where he managed investigative workflows, developed case management strategies, and provided Insurance Fraud Awareness Training. Christopher's expertise also extends to investigating major insurance claims, particularly in property theft and high-value musical instruments, and refining SIU programs and compliance initiatives.
Christopher holds professional designations such as CIFI (Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator), FCLS (Fraud Claims Law Specialist), and MATI (Master Auto Theft Investigator Level 1, 2, 3). His active involvement in professional associations like the Rhode Island Adjusters Association (RIAA), International Association of Special Investigative Units (IASIU), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners reflects his unwavering commitment to the field. Beyond his professional pursuits, Christopher actively engages in non-profit organizations, serves on executive boards, coaches baseball and soccer teams, and holds a license as a soccer referee.

Leigh Ann Greiner

Leigh Ann began her career in the insurance industry in 1997. There she worked as a claims rep for CIGNA, Sedgwick and Liberty Mutual. Prior to joining Lemieux & Associates, she was a Senior Case Manager for one of the national investigations companies. There she managed one of the largest territories and had one of the top performing investigative teams in the company. Her teams were consistently recognized for being the best amongst their peers.

Richard Healy

Rick, a Connecticut native, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Quinnipiac University, graduating in 2010. Later, in 2014, he furthered his education at Quinnipiac University, earning a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. With a passion for teaching, he spent five years in an elementary school classroom in
New Haven, CT.

In 2019, Rick transitioned into the field of investigations, joining Lemieux and Associates as an Assistant Case Manager. Today, he serves as the Surveillance Case Manager, bringing a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to his team. He currently resides in his hometown of Branford, CT.

David Laffler

Surveillance – 2019

David has been working in the private investigations industry since 1995, first becoming licensed in his home state of North Carolina.  During those years he conducted a variety of investigations that covered the entire “PI experience” - ranging from putting covert cameras in a break room to figure out who was stealing sandwiches to high-level asbestos investigations and critical exposure surveillance cases. 

Throughout those years David's primary focus was insurance defense surveillance, at one time holding licenses in almost one-half of the country.  David has experience with surveillance in almost every possible environment, having worked up and down the East Coast and throughout the Mid-South.  He began his management path with a small regional firm, then after obtaining his Bachelor’s in Organizational Security Management as a regional surveillance manager with a national firm where he managed a territory that covered one fifth of the united states prior to joining our team in 2019.

David, his wife Michelle, and their son currently live in the Northwest Arkansas area.

Alexis Romano

Case Manager
SIU - 2016

Alexis attended the University of New Haven from 2012-2018. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in fire investigations with a minor in criminal justice, as well as master’s degrees in both fire investigations and criminal investigations. While completing her degrees, she began working for Lemieux & Associates.

 

Alexis has worked for Lemieux & Associates since 2016. Her first responsibilities included desktop investigations and assisting the vice president with administrative tasks, including Requests for Proposals. She then transitioned roles into managing the trial monitors and working as an SIU field investigator. Alexis has most recently been promoted to SIU Case Manager here at Lemieux & Associates.

Jimmy Tran

Case Manager
Surveillance - 2022

Jimmy began his career in private investigations in September 2015 as a Case Manager for a national investigation agency and later became a licensed investigator in the State of California. He started as an investigator at Lemieux & Associates and is currently working as a Surveillance Case Manager. Jimmy has investigated cases ranging from Worker’s Compensation, Disability, to Long-Term Care files. His experience includes investigating Corporate Fraud and Threat Assessments. He also brings a unique perspective as a first-generation immigrant, a small business owner, an EMT, and a Reserve Firefighter where camaraderie is appreciated, teamwork is valued, and empathy is paramount. This complements and represents the company culture here at Lemieux & Associates.

 

Jimmy resides in Irvine, CA, enjoys surfing and hiking mountain peaks, and spending time with his significant other and their dog Molly in Seal Beach.”
